Did You Miss The 2017 Fall Forum? Here’s a Recap!

Once a year, the community’s top performing agents and partners unite together for the region’s most anticipated learning and networking seminar – Chorus Communications’ Fall Forum. This year’s event, which took place on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in a packed Eagles Locker Room, was moderated by Jaymie Scotto Cutaia of JSA.net. Panelists consisted of QTS Data Centers, Netrality Properties, and Exede by ViaSat. Lastly, happy hour sponsors included Comcast Business & New Horizon Communications, IPR Secure, and GTT.

From cloud infrastructure services in Philadelphia to colocation solutions in New Jersey, each panelist at the Fall Forum brought something different to the table. The panelists also discussed and shared their best industry practices in an open presentation format, and attendees were free to ask questions and gain a critical insight on how to build optimal customer solutions.

In one case study presented at the event, it was detailed how the Chorus team, along with technology experts at Netrality, Zayo, and Exede by Viasat, were able to build a custom solution that solved a school district’s need for a standard compliant data center to house their many campuses’ servers.

As per another case study presented at the event, a healthcare provider faced the challenge of needing a more secure and higher performing data center for their clients. Data security experts at QTS Data Centers, Zayo, and Excede by Viasat were able to pull together a solution for the client by offering the security and connectivity they so desperately needed to support their company’s operations.

Ultimately, this year’s event was all about working together as a partner community to bring customers the best-managed cloud services in Philadelphia and most creative solutions to their technology challenges. Fall Forum first-timer Dave Swank from QTS Data Centers even praised Chorus Communications on their ability to bring together panelists of varying expertise for a mutually beneficial night, full of value for all the potential customers in attendance.

At the close of the seminar portion of the Fall Forum, attendees were invited to join Eagles defensive tackle, Fletcher Cox, in the Eagles tunnel for a happy hour and game-changing networking event. Both beer and wine were served in addition to gourmet stadium fare for an overall amazing experience that guests will never forget.
