2016 Carriers Ball Recap: And the Winner Is…

The 2016 Carriers Ball just wrapped up and the winners have been determined. We want to take this opportunity to wish a HUGE congratulations to everyone who took the cake in their respective categories.

And the Winners Are:

Most Diverse Carrier

While Hollywood Meets Evolution occurred while the Olympic games were happening in Rio, Comcast Business managed to obtain a gold medal in diversity from Washington, D.C. It’s no surprise that they secured an award, seeing as they’re one of the leading and longest-lived companies in telecommunications. The division of Comcast has been thriving since inception in 2006, and handles a variety of its parent company’s operative measures. Their breadth of small to enterprise solutions led them to receive this well-deserved title.

Best Collaboration Tool

It’s no surprise that Velis4 was triumphant in earning the best collaboration tool title. The Fort Washington-based VoIP provider excels at delivering its clients top-notch collaboration solutions that increase productivity by huge margins. Their Skype for Business solution played an integral role in their attainment of the best collaboration tool. Well done!

Best Mobility Service

MetTel offers a full-fledged line of mobility solutions that boast 100% reliability. Their best-in-class mobile device management, IoT, fixed wireless, PTT and mobile help desk services, among others, led them to victory in the best mobility service category this year. They should be proud of their hard work, and the cloud based services they provide!

Best Colocation Services

Thanks to their state-of-the-art data centers, TierPoint was able to secure the best colocation services title this year. Businesses far and wide flock to TierPoint for their premier colocation and IT infrastructure management. It’s a pleasure to partner with them!

Best Cloud Security Services

Clients of Arctic Wolf don’t have to worry about security breaches, disasters, loss of data or downtime when it comes to their cloud services, and because of their exceptional solutions, they procured best cloud security services this year. We recently did a full spotlight on them, which you can read here. Who do you think will secure the victory next year?

Bravo to all the winners! And let’s not forget the incredible sponsors who made it all possible:

  • CallTower

  • CCS

  • Comcast Business

  • iAgent

  • Line Systems

  • RCN Business

  • PGi

From the data recovery companies in Philadelphia to the cloud computing services in South Jersey, and everyone in between, all who participated in this year’s Carriers Ball helped make it the biggest success yet, so in that sense we’re all the winners.

Think we can outdo ourselves yet again next year? See you there!
