While 2017 proved itself to be a fantastic year from start to finish, Chorus Communications is excited to see what 2018 has in store. In fact, from new partnerships to another successful end-of-the-year Fall Forum, the team at Chorus is extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our customers with the best business telecom services and cutting-edge products the technology industry has to offer.
While we could probably publish a novel recapping all of the significant events and advantageous partnerships that were forged in 2017, here is a quick recap of some of the most memorable moments from this past year.
Chorus Communications Announces Three New Partnerships
Just one short year has gone by since Chorus Communications welcomed three new solution providers, giving Chorus’ vast clientele a variety of benefits they will carry for years to come. Miles Technologies, 1SEO Technologies, and VoIP Networks, all leaders in their own unique fields, continue to serve the Chorus community with the best hosted VoIP services and customized technology solutions on the market today.
Who’s Who in Technology ‘17
The 10th annual Who’s Who in Technology event was nothing short of amazing. Industry experts gathered at Citizens Bank Park in the Diamond Club and Hall of Fame Club with special guest Tommy Greene, a prominent Phillies alumna player. After the presentations and lectures commenced, an energized networking happy hour ensued, sponsored by QTS, where guests were able to connect and spend time with Philly’s own, the Phanatic. Each year the Who’s Who in Technology event becomes bigger and better than its predecessor, so watch out 2018, you’ve got some big shoes to fill!
Chorus Communications Wins Top Comcast Partner in the Nation
On Saturday, April 29, 2017, it was an honor to receive the recognition as the Top Comcast Business Sales Partner in the United States. To qualify for such an award, Chorus Communications fulfilled a wide range of criteria, and that included bringing Comcast Business a high volume of successful business over the course of 2016. The ceremony took place at the lovely Paradise Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and has added another prestigious accolade to the many awards received since Chorus’ inception over two decades ago.
OnSip Joins the Chorus Community
Cloud-based VoIP service provider OnSip joined the Chorus Communications expansive partner roster in early 2017. It was with great pleasure we welcomed OnSip to our growing team of top hosted VoIP providers to not only increase the success here at Chorus Communications but to, more importantly, serve our customers with comprehensive, yet easy to use cloud-based phone solutions.
Lunch & Learn Webinar Featuring Strava Technology Group
A truly unique and beneficial experience for all who attended, the Lunch & Learn webinar that Chorus Communications co-hosted with Strava Technology Group educated attendees on how to take sales and revenues to the next level with the leading cloud business application that is Microsoft Dynamics 365. Guests were treated to a free lunch and an informative presentation on how to integrate this cutting-edge platform into a current Microsoft Office or Outlook suite.
The 2017 Chorus Carriers Ball featuring Jamie Lynn Spears
The Chorus Carriers Ball, held in a different city each year, aims to award the top carriers and solution partners with well-deserved awards in a number of categories, while also celebrating the tech sphere’s finest. In 2017, the event was held in Austin, Texas, at the legendary music venue Maggie Mae’s where music sensation Jamie Lynn Spears performed hit after hit for a Carriers Ball we definitely will never forget. Winners included QTS for Best Cloud Orchestration, Google for Best IoT, and Comcast Business for Best SD-Wan, to name a few. We look forward to many more successful Carriers Ball in the upcoming years!
The 2017 Chorus’ Technology 2017 Fall Forum
Taking place at Philly’s very own Lincoln Financial Field, the Fall Forum brought together the area’s top performing agents and partners for a night full of learning, laughing, and great memories for all. Panelists shared key insights on the best industry practices of 2017 while guests eagerly took notes and responded with thought-provoking questions. At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees were directed to the Eagles tunnel for a networking happy hour extravaganza where they were greeted by special guest Fletcher Cox. All in all, we were ecstatic about how the night turned out!
Hair O’ Dog
As we turn over a new leaf into 2018, Chorus Communications already joined the industry’s best at one of Philly’s most anticipated networking events at Hair O’ The Dog this January. The top 100 partners and top 100 clients were in attendance for an evening of amazing music, food, cocktails, with a portion of the event’s proceeds going towards local charities. Chorus Communications looked forward to seeing new and returning faces at this year’s Hair O’ The Dog extravaganza and is happy to have another successful event in the books!
2018 Hair O’ the Dog Beneficiary
Hair O’ the Dog has come a long way since its first event was held back in 1995 at a small suburban venue called The Tiki Club in King of Prussia. Today, Hair O’ the Dog has grown to become one of Philadelphia’s most prominent black-tie affairs that draws crowds from near and far for a night full of entertainment and dancing with a portion of each event’s proceeds going directly to charity.
After careful consideration, this year’s Hair O’ the Dog beneficiary belongs to The Center for Autism. Founded in 1955, The Center for Autism is the oldest and longest running specialized autism center in our nation. As a non-profit organization, The Center for Autism relies on kind donations to continually help those in need. In the two facilities located in Philadelphia alone, over 1500 children and their families were able to seek treatment for a wide variety of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Hair O’ the Dog executives could not be happier with their decision to award The Center for Autism with this year’s event proceeds.
