Join Us On November 30th As We Rally to Help A Loved One Battle PKD!
When we contemplate our 22 years (and counting!) of success in the tech industry, it’s important to acknowledge that we’ve never done it alone. From the family members who believed in us, to our initial agent partners, telecom companies, data recovery services and so on, it took a community to get us to where we are today. A family of companies that share the same goals and interests; built by people who resolved that through working alongside one another, rather than against each other, we all have a greater chance of seeing success and helping the tech industry grow to its highest potential.
Through all that, we’ve built personal relationships with one another—relationships that extend beyond the walls of the companies that brought us together in the first place. We’re at happy hour together after a hard week’s work. We’re at our children’s birthday parties, watching them grow. We cheer for each other when achievements are accomplished. Through the laughter and crying, good and bad, we press on together. Most importantly, when someone in our community needs help, we give it them without hesitation, and we find comfort in knowing that they would do the same for us.
With that said, our community is calling for help right now, and our very own Channel Manager, Amy Servis, has answered those pleas.
On January 24, 2017, Amy will donate a kidney to her brother-in-law, Brian Servis. Brian suffers with polycystic kidney disease (PKD), and is currently on dialysis. When Amy found out that she is a match for the transplant, she jumped at the opportunity.
You’re Invited to Attend Our Fundraiser for Brian
Join us at Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar in Doylestown on November 30th as we host a fundraiser to support Brian Jervis. PKD is a tough disease that takes up all of a person’s focus to fight and beat. With help from Amy, we know that Brian will beat PKD, but the road isn’t going to be an easy one. And through the battle, mortgage payments, tuition and other bills won’t go away, so we are bringing the community together to raise funds for Brian, and cheer him and Amy on!
Chambers 19 is gracious enough to donate 20% of their profits from that day to Brian, so he can focus on recovering.
The fundraiser will take place between 5-10 p.m. Amy will be there guest bartending, so make sure to stop by the bar to have a cocktail and wish her godspeed on a successful procedure after you enjoy your delicious meal!
But that’s not all — There will also be a 50-50 raffle, and we’re raffling off Hair O’ The Dog tickets, gift baskets and cards, and other goodies from local businesses. You don’t want to miss these opportunities!
Women in the Channel
Amy is an active member of Women in the Channel, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing women together from across the telecom space to help each other further themselves, their roles in the industry and the progression of working women as a whole. Through committees, collaboration and support, Women in the Channel provides a community in which women working in telecom can gather in support of one another. Amy’s decision to donate a kidney to a person in need beautifully parallels the spirit of Women in the Channel, and the organization is proud to have her on board!
We strive to be more than the bridge between agents, clients and telecom and Philadelphia data recovery services. We’re invested in the community here, and we care about each member as if they’re family.
Through the ups and downs, good and bad, we wouldn’t trade the community we’ve helped build for anything. We’re beyond proud of Amy for her selflessness and uninhibited helping hand. Join us in raising our glasses to her and Brian at Chambers 19 on November 30th. We hope to see you there!
