Recapping the 5th Annual Chorus Carriers Ball

For five years now the Carriers Ball has celebrated the most accomplished names in the business. Each year, the event brings cloud partners and telecom professionals together from all over the country to participate in networking and business development activities. The Carriers Ball gives tens of thousands of agents, consultants, and vendors an opportunity to vote on their favorite communications providers and managers.

This year, the Carriers Ball took place on September 11, 2019, at Union Stage in Washington D.C. during the Channel Partners Evolution Conference. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the organizations that sponsored the Carriers Ball:

  • 4River
  • Vonage Business
  • Metrospect Event Planning & Management
  • Viasat
  • Starken Technologies Inc.
  • Teligent IP
  • Voyant
  • TPX Communications.
  • Flexential
  • AT&T Business
  • iAgentNetwork
  • Comcast Business
  • Netrality Data Centers

At this year’s Carriers Ball, ten awards were presented to distinguished members of the telecom community. But the Carriers Ball is more than just an awards ceremony and networking event — this year, the theme was The Beatles, and the event lived up to that theme with a musical performance by The Beat Tells, the premier Beatles tribute band. The Racing Presidents were also at the Carriers Ball, and we were even lucky enough to see a performance by The Tech Boys, a band made up of the following telecommunications professionals:

  • Shane Gossert, Channel Manager @ TPX
  • Richard Rish, President @ Starken Technologies
  • Ray Carr, Founder @ Teligent Solutions
  • Scott Kinka, Founding Partner @ Evolve IP
  • Rob Molinaro, Vice President @ Chorus
  • Daniel Cronin, President @ Chorus

Celebrating the Industry’s Most Accomplished Carriers

The Chorus Carriers Ball isn’t just a celebration of professionals in the telecom community, but it’s also an excellent opportunity for networking and promoting your business. We even had our very first Tech’s Got Talent contest this year, in which winners were awarded more than $2,500 in prizes. Between the voting on awards and participating in the new contest, there sure was a lot of competition at the fifth installment of the Carriers Ball — but there was just as much comradery. The event also had a very strong social media presence.

This Year’s Winners

The following organizations and individuals took home awards from the 5th installment of the Chorus Carriers Ball:

On behalf of everyone at Chorus Communications, we would like to congratulate this year’s winners! As Philadelphia’s leading data recovery service, we are honored to participate in the Carriers Ball each year — and we hope you will be in attendance next year. Check out photos from this year’s Carriers Ball if you were unable to attend this year.
